FRS Clipper is a public passenger ferry service that transports people and vehicles between various harbors around the greater San Juan Islands archipelago.
Operating primarily from May through September, FRS Clipper runs daily routes on its fleet of M/V Clipper III and M/V Chloe Ann high-speed catamaran vessels.
Routes connect the main Olympic Peninsula port of Anacortes to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, and also between Friday Harbor and the outer islands of Orcas, Shaw, Lopez, and Cypress.
Select additional inter-island routes and seasonal winter service is offered on days with sufficient passenger volume. Morning and afternoon departures accommodate day-trippers and visitors.
Booking ahead online is recommended, especially in the busy summer months. Walk-ons are accommodated based on space availability.
