Dumpling Generation is a really cool local spot focused on sharing homemade dumpling-making. They have two locations in Edmonds and Lake Forest Park. Run by a family with Chinese heritage, they’re dedicated to keeping this cultural food tradition alive.
Walking into either location, you see packages of frozen dumplings all nicely displayed for purchase. Browsing their website, especially the Gallery section, gives you a feel for the love and care put into crafting each dumpling by hand. It’s obvious this is a labor of love for them.
Beyond just selling dumplings ready-made, they also offer classes teaching people how to fold their own. I love their Story page which gave great background on why sharing this skill is important to the owners. Their instructions for cooking up frozen dumplings looked super helpful too.
It was nice to see they’ve had success expanding to a second spot. Clearly, others in the community want to experience this unique cuisine and learn the art of dumpling-making too. I can totally understand the love after browsing their website. I’ll definitely be checking them out in person for a tasty taste of tradition!
