Overview

The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum is an aviation and military museum located at the Paine Field Airport in Everett, Washington. Its collection focuses on historical combat aircraft and armor.

Many of the aircraft displayed are in fully restored flying condition and participate in aerial demonstrations, including several rare Luftwaffe fighters such as the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and Focke-Wulf Fw 190.

The collection also features Soviet aircraft like the Mig-15 and Mig-17 jet fighters. A B-17 Flying Fortress bomber is often seen on weekends.

On the ground, one of the largest indoor displays of military vehicles in the country includes tanks, armored carriers, and other armored fighting vehicles from World War I through the Cold War.

In addition to the static displays, restoration work can be viewed up close through large glass hangar walls. Military art, uniforms, and other artifacts complete the educational experience.

Guided tours provide historical context, and flight simulation experiences are available. The museum aims to preserve aviation history and honor military service through its rare and authentic artifacts.

It has become one of the premier aviation destinations in the Northwest for both military history buffs and aviation enthusiasts.
